Assembly and testing: After passing the inspection, the parts enter the assembly workshop for assembly, including the fitting of inner and outer rings, rolling elements, and cages, checking clearance, final inspection, and other steps, to finally complete the assembly of the bearing.
The production process of bearings mainly includes the following key steps:
Raw material selection and processing: The production of bearings usually starts with selecting high-strength alloy steel, such as bearing steel, which has excellent wear resistance and fatigue
resistance, and can maintain stable performance in high load and high-speed environments.
Forging and Initial Processing: Forging is the first step in bearing production, which processes raw materials into the basic shape of the bearing by applying external force, improving the density
of the material and reducing defects, thereby enhancing the strength and toughness of the bearing. The next step is the initial processing, including rough turning and rough grinding, to
machine the inner and outer rings of the bearing into shapes close to the final size.
Precision machining: In this process, the inner and outer rings of the bearing, as well as the rolling elements (such as steel balls or rollers), undergo multiple turning, grinding, and polishing
treatments to achieve micrometer level dimensional accuracy. The accuracy of the groove depth, width, and curvature of the inner and outer rings directly affects the operating state of the
rolling elements, so this processing step must be extremely precise.
Heat treatment: The purpose of heat treatment is to improve the hardness and wear resistance of materials. Through processes such as quenching and tempering, the surface hardness of
bearing steel is significantly increased, thereby extending its service life.
Assembly and testing: After passing the inspection, the parts enter the assembly workshop for assembly, including the fitting of inner and outer rings, rolling elements, and cages, checking
clearance, final inspection, and other steps, to finally complete the assembly of the bearing.
Production equipment and technical requirements for bearings: Multiple equipment are required during the production process, such as cold rolling machines, fully automatic ball bearing
internal cylindrical grinders, quenching wires, annealing furnaces, presses, CNC lathes, bearing grinders, internal groove grinders, external groove grinders, etc., to ensure the accuracy and
quality of each link.
Classification and application of bearings: According to the type of rolling element, bearings can be divided into ball bearings and roller bearings. Ball bearings are suitable for high-speed
rotating applications, while roller bearings are suitable for situations with larger radial loads. Different types of bearings have different classification standards in terms of external dimensions
and applications, such as micro bearings, small bearings, medium and large bearings, etc.

Uniform force: During installation, avoid hitting only one side or using excessive force. Instead, apply even force to prevent tilting or cracking of the bearings.

The difference between tapered roller bearings and cylindrical roller bearings
Conical roller bearings: They can withstand both radial and axial loads, especially when subjected to larger radial loads, and their performance is superior to other thrust bearings. It can transmit unidirectional axial loads. If it is necessary to transmit axial loads in the opposite direction, another tapered roller bearing symmetrically installed with it is required.
